Feeling inspired by the Africa trip, Steven and I decided to tour through the great fingerlakes of New York state! Our first trip was 4 days and the second was just 3 days. We made it around Seneca, Keuka, Canandaigua, Honeoye, Canadice, Hemlock, and Conesus. We set up our tent in the woods, at campsites, and also slept in a couple of B&Bs (which was nice when we hadn't showered after a couple of days!). We rode through Letchworth State Park and through little ghost towns, sometimes in the rain. We stopped at wineries and devoured pints of Ben&Jerry's in one sitting. I say, bicycling is the best way to travel these days. :-)
Eating dinner in the deep dark woods.

Only blue skies ahead!
